Event Description

On view: May 6-25, 2019 in the Johnson Gallery

The annual Raspberry Monday exhibition will feature student work from throughout the department. This year, visual artist, writer and curator, Mara Duvra, will jury the exhibition. The Raspberry Monday Scholarship was given to the Art and Design Department in 1973, and has been awarded to over 70 art & design majors in the past 40+ years. The Raspberry Monday Exhibition was initiated in 1973, to publicize and celebrate the awarding of the Raspberry Monday Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to an art or design major with outstanding qualities, excellence in studio work, and contribution to the Art & Design Department.  The recipient is selected by the Art & Design Faculty.

The official reception and awards ceremony will take place at 7pm on May 6 in the Johnson Gallery. The juror will give a talk on May 8 at 4pm in the gallery.
