Event Description

The Department of Music will present violinist Nadia Abboud, student of Angela Hanson, and trumpeter Dan Sievert, student of Steven Thompson, in Elective Recitals. Nadia, accompanied by Herbert Johnson, will play Bach's Arioso and Concerto No. 1 in A Minor, Thais' Meditation, and Bohm's Introduction and Polonaise. Nadia will collaborate with cellist Alia Abboud on Dancla's Concertante. Dan, accompanied by Stephen Self, will play Britten's Fanfare for St. Edmundsbury, Hindemith's Sonate for Bb Trumpet and Piano, Clarke's The Maid of the Mist, and Torrelli's Sinfonia con tromba. The recital is free and open to the public.
