Description: The Assistant is required to provide assistance in lifting, transferring, and positioning a person with a disability, who is a non-weight-bearing power wheelchair user. The assistant is required to be able to stoop, reach, lift and transfer the student in the wheelchair; the ability to listen, take direction, and learn. This is a physical job that includes full lifts from wheelchair to toilet, toilet to wheelchair, followed by functional positioning.

Next Fall Hours will be needed between the hours of 9:00am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday (this can be provided by multiple students). 

We will also be looking for a student, or two, to help a few hours in the summer ranging from 3-10 hours a week.
