When Hannah Brandes ’04 was a Bethel student, she worked in the Office of Development. She had no idea that God would lead her back to campus some 10 years later.
With strong ties to Bethel (her parents, sisters, aunts, and uncles are also Bethel alumni), she has wanted to come back to her alma mater, so she was excited when the timing worked out for her to return. “God was preparing me for this opportunity,” she says.
After working in pharmaceutical sales for 8 years, Hannah felt something was missing. “I want to make a lasting impact,” she says, which she can do at Bethel.
Hannah’s favorite Bethel experiences involve the student activities she participated in, such as Welcome Week and Homecoming, as well as Interim and Spring Break trips.
Romans 12:9-13. “These passages spell out what I want to aspire to as my core values: service, prayer, hospitality, generosity, and joy,” she says.
Outside of work, Hannah is a sports fan, particularly of the Minnesota Vikings and Twins, as well as of college basketball (Go Royals!). She also enjoys traveling, quilting, and spending time with her family at the lake.
