About Dave

After graduating from Bethel College in 1983, I spent 34 years working in the Title industry and never thought I would find myself back at Bethel University. At my previous job I traveled 80% of the time all across the country and I knew that God had something else in store for me. I truly enjoy working in a Christian environment with other believers who value Christian higher education; as well as seeing our graduates make a positive impact for His Kingdom.

What I love about my job:

There are so many different aspects of my job that I love. Some of these aspects include connecting with generous Alumni and donors while seeing the passion they have for Bethel. Another aspect is being on campus and feeding off the students’ energy. I also enjoy participating in the many events that are part of University Advancement. Finally, I love the family legacies that have been created at Bethel and it is fun to see the new legacies that are being created every year. It is so rewarding to be doing work for the Glory of God.

In my free time:

I love spending time with my wife Sue ('84) and our two daughters Maddie ('19) and Allie ('21). We love spending time on the lake, playing all kinds of games, as well as having friends and family come to visit us in Annandale. I also enjoy playing baseball and attending all of our girls' sporting activities.
