Let’s Hear You ROAR!
Bethel's second annual ROAR Day—a university-wide, one-day giving campaign—is Tuesday, October 13. ROAR stands for Raise Our Alumni Rate –and it’s a great opportunity for alumni, parents, students, friends, fans, and donors to come together, celebrate Bethel, and help build a bright future for the university.
There will be giveaways, matching gift challenges, alumni-created videos, and more. ROAR Day is a grassroots effort, and it depends on the participation of many to be successful. Here’s how you can ROAR:
Give. It doesn’t matter how much you give, it matters that you give. Every gift makes an impact and serves to encourage others to get involved as well. You can designate your gift to any of the five schools of Bethel University and several special projects.
Wear your Bethel gear. A golf shirt, hat, or hoodie with “Bethel” on it says, “I’m kind of proud of this place.”
Wax nostalgic. Share a favorite memory or tell someone what makes Bethel special to you.
Spread the word. Email. Call. Text. Tweet. Take a video. Get creative!
Post a picture and “tag” your Bethel friends.
Be sure to use the hashtag #BURoarDay. This helps others find your post and share it.
