Bethel’s Director of Special Education licensure program is designed to prepare administrators to serve in this important call. Our Director of Special Education License prepares you to best serve students and their families. You’ll be ready for leadership in an administrative role as you build skills in problem-solving, organizational management and communication, resource allocation, allocation, and policy.

Two-track license options
You can choose to earn just your K-12 principal license or earn your license as part of completing Bethel's Doctor of Education program.
Additional requirement assistance
If you don’t have the required 3 years of special education experience, you can add a special education internship to meet the requirement.
Flexibility
Many of our doctoral students work full time, have families, and are involved in their community while in graduate school. Our program is delivered primarily online with a yearly one-week residency with flexible options, which allows you to add coursework to your other responsibilities in ways that make sense for you.Outcomes
