Bethel Alum’s Latest Artwork Makes National News

Alumnus and artist Chris Larson ’90 has received extensive news coverage recently for his latest art installation, “Celebration/Love/Loss.” The piece is a full-scale replica of a 2,000-square-foot house designed in the 1960s by architect Marcel Breuer for his friend Frank Kacmarcik, a St. Paul artist and monk. Larson’s replica was part of “Northern Spark,” an all-night arts festival in St. Paul on June 8. Visitors had the opportunity to walk through the wood and cardboard structure before it was set on fire at 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, June 9.
