Bethel Students Travel in US and Abroad for Spring Break

The Bethel Wind Symphony is traveling in Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota during Spring Break.

About 400 Bethel University students are traveling with music ensembles, athletic teams, and on mission trips this Spring Break.

About 175 student musicians are traveling on spring music performance tours in the United States. Members of the Bethel Wind Symphony are traveling in Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota while the Bethel Choir is scheduled to perform in California and Arizona. Both groups are performing concerts, worship services, and school assemblies during their week-long trip. The Bethel Women’s Chorale will tour a few weeks later in Northern Minnesota.

Five athletic teams have headed to Florida for Spring Break: softball, baseball, men’s golf, men’s tennis, and women’s tennis. Bethel’s softball team will take on 12 opponents over eight days at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. The baseball team will play 10 games in Fort Myers, Fla., including one against the Minnesota Twins rookie team on March 18. Bethel’s men’s tennis team will face six opponents and Bethel’s women’s tennis team will face five, all in Orlando, Fla.
