Bethel provides benefits-eligible employees with short-term disability, and if necessary long-term disability, salary continuation for circumstances which render the employee disabled and unable to work in their current position. Short-term disability helps continue the employee’s salary at a percentage based on length of service and continues up to six months. Long-term disability includes a monthly benefit of 60% of earning up to a maximum monthly benefit of $5,000 until age 65.
