Grants for 2014-2015

Grants are a form of gift aid, meaning you don’t need to repay them. Scan through the list of grants available to Bethel Seminary students (excludes Doctor of Ministry students). Bethel institutional gift aid applies to fall and spring semesters only.

Bethel Grant

Up to $1,200 per year based on financial need.

Students must be enrolled full time (6 credits per semester) in a master’s level program. Need-based.

Campus Crusade Grant

15% of tuition for Campus Crusade employees.

Must reapply annually and maintain employment with Campus Crusade

Eligibility

Current full-time employees of Campus Crusade who enroll in a master’s level program. Recipients are not eligible for additional institutional aid. Full-time enrollment is not required to receive this grant.

InMinistry Travel Grant

Up to $1,000 per year for full-time InMinistry students from the U.S. living over 75 miles from campus.

Varies. Up to $500 per semester, $1,000 per year.

Eligibility

Full-time InMinistry students from the U.S. living 75 miles or more from campus. Students must be enrolled full time (6.0 credits per semester). Need-based.

International Student Grant

Various amounts for students selected by the Office of Admissions and Recruitment.

Eligibility

Students selected by the Office of Admissions and Recruitment who enroll in residential programs in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Minnesota GI Bill Program

Up to $1,000 per term for veterans.

Amount

Up to $1,000 per term for full-time students. Up to $500 per term for part-time students.

Renewal

Student must apply every year. Lifetime maximum of $10,000.

Eligibility

You must be a Minnesota resident who is a:

  • Veteran who is serving or has served honorably in any branch of the United States armed forces at any time; or
  • Non-veteran who has served honorably for a total of five years or more cumulatively as a member of the Minnesota National Guard or any other active or reserve component of the United States armed forces, and any part of that service occurred on or after September 11, 2001; or
  • Spouse of a person who has served in the military at any time who has died or has a total and permanent disability as a direct result of that military service. (Student must also be eligible to receive federal veterans education benefits as a spouse or dependent.)

Must be a student in good standing.
