My favorite things about Bethel University

What I love about Bethel is the sense of community that permeates the campus. Everyone here is so welcoming and positive. I also appreciate Bethel's commitment to balancing learning with spiritual growth, where students can explore both their vocation and their values. Finally, Bethel during the Christmas season is a sight to behold! There are so many fun decorations and festivities to celebrate the birth of Christ!

My favorite thing about the Twin Cities and life

There are so many fun things to do in the Twin Cities: arts, concerts, food, sports, nature! It's hard to know where to begin! Honestly, a great place to start is just going for walk around one of the lakes - they're pretty all year 'round. For food, the Twin Cities are known for the Juicy Lucy which are burger patties filled with cheese. When it gets really cold out, it's fun to window shop around the Mall of America. I've lived in Minnesota my whole life but I'm always discovering new places to explore!

My favorite thing about being a Student Success Advisor

I am really excited to be able to help students along their academic journey at Bethel. Being a student can be incredibly challenging at times, and our hope is to provide each and every student with the resources they need to succeed. I love having the opportunity to build and maintain strong connections so students can grow and thrive during their time studying with us!

Before working at Bethel

I spent several years working at a residential mental health clinic that specialized in treating eating disorders. It was challenging work, but also very rewarding. I feel very blessed to take the skills I learned in the counseling field to serve students at Bethel!
