My favorite things about Bethel University

The moment I stepped foot into the Bethel community changed my life forever. Students, faculty and staff are very encouraging and supportive. I have never seen professors so determined to see their students succeed. Knowing that Bethel exists to educate students with a Christian perspective and a holistic approach is so awesome! The Bethel community continues to challenge individuals to live out their calling. One area in particular that has had a major impact on me is reconciliation, especially as our world becomes more diverse. All in all, it’s been a very rewarding community to be a part of!

My favorite things about the Twin Cities and life

I love the diversity here in the Twin Cities. You have so many restaurants to pick from! There are wonderful opportunities to learn about people who are different from you. I also enjoy the beautiful parks and recreational attractions, especially as they change through the four seasons we have in the Midwest. Spring and fall are my favorite seasons and you don’t get these seasons in every state. Lastly, I love my faith community and family. They’re all very important to me as we strive to live God’s calling for us in this world.

My favorite things about being a Student Success Advisor

As you can tell, I love meeting new people and being a Student Success Advisor certainly gives me that opportunity. I’m excited to build relationships and be a part of this journey with students as they seek to accomplish their goals. My hope is that I can be a place for students to turn to as they manage the difficulties of schooling, work, and life. I look forward to seeing students transformed with the confidence to succeed as complete their program.

Before working at Bethel

I am currently serving at Roots Covenant Church as the Visual Coordinator. Before Bethel, I worked as an Operations Program Associate at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for the University Advancement & Communications Division. I also served several years at my former church as the secretary, Youth/Young Adult Coordinator Assistant, Children’s Director Assistant, and Women’s Outreach Coordinator.
