My favorite things about Bethel University

I love the heart that Bethel has to provide a community that is inclusive and welcoming to others. I am passionate about leadership and service to others, which fit well with Bethel’s values of being Christ-followers, character-builders, truth-seekers, learners, reconcilers, salt and light, and world-changers.

My favorite thing about the Twin Cities and life

I absolutely love Minneapolis! Living in various neighborhoods over the period of 8 years has been an adventure all on its own! I will talk with anyone about Minneapolis - North, Northeast, Uptown, Downtown, South - at any time! Minneapolis also has great lakes, trails, and parks. I'm truly a city person at heart and I enjoy traveling to and exploring other cities as well. Other than that, I enjoy spending time with my family, my friends, and my cat.

My favorite things about being a Student Success Advisor

Working with students has always been a fun job for me. Making plans, staying organized, holding others and myself accountable, envisioning the future, and seeing development in others are all things I enjoy. It is especially fantastic when you have the opportunity to work with others on these goals within a mutually belonging educational and faith-based environment.

Before working at Bethel

My most recent experiences involved working with various non-profits, community-based organizations, and local community and technical colleges within the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. I enjoy engaging and working with varied and diverse populations and feel extremely blessed to have partnered closely with so many people and organizations of different backgrounds. Social justice, access, equality, and education are all topics very close to my heart.
