Finance Scholarship

Finance Scholarship 

Bethel University is proud to offer the Bethel Finance Scholarship. Two $4,000 renewable scholarships are awarded to qualified incoming students planning to pursue a business major with a finance emphasis at Bethel. 


$4,000 awarded, renewable for one additional year (total of two years).

  • Application Deadline: June 1, 2021
  • On-campus interview and tour if chosen as a finalist: early June, date to be determined
  • Announcement of scholarship awards: June 15, 2021


At the time of application, students must:

  • Be U.S. citizens or permanent residents
  • Be high school seniors during the 2020-21 school year
  • Have an unweighted high school grade point average of at least 3.30 (4.0 scale)
  • ACT or SAT score required

Requirements and limitations:

  • Scholarship recipients must enroll at Bethel in the fall of 2021, majoring in business with a finance emphasis.
  • The scholarships are renewable for one year (two years total), provided recipients continue to have a business major with a finance emphasis, make satisfactory progress towards their degree, and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30. 
  • Dependents of Bethel employees are not eligible for the Bethel Finance Scholarship.

Application Process

Interested students who meet the scholarship eligibility requirements will be asked to complete the following when applying for the Bethel Finance Scholarship.

First, apply to Bethel University.

Then submit the Bethel Finance Scholarship Application, which will ask for the following elements:

  1. Explain what appeals to you about Bethel’s business major with a finance emphasis.
  2. Provide the name, email address, and discipline of a teacher who would provide a letter of recommendation for you if you are selected as a finalist.
  3. Participate in an interview with faculty in the Department of Business if you are chosen as a finalist.
  4. Upload a resume.
