At Bethel, students in the Department of Business are required to complete a meaningful off-campus internship. Finding an internship that will provide a rewarding, valuable experience while helping you explore your career goals is key. That’s why we support you every step of the way.
Department of Business Internship Coordinator Lela Sanchez Oslin provides personal support for interns.
Bethel’s liberal arts approach develops the whole student. And the Department of Business equips students to understand what makes an organization operate efficiently while reaching its goals.
Internship Seminar
Before you participate in an internship you must take the mandatory Internship Seminar course, which is offered each month. To sign up for a seminar, students can find the seminar registration page on the business student resource Moodle. Registration closes 24 hours before each seminar.

Bethel equipped me with a variety of fundamental skills that helped tremendously throughout my internship. Throughout my time at Bethel, my faith became my own, which has played into the development of my value system. I oriented my sales approach around this and made sure my customers and coworkers knew that they were valued and loved. My business professors at Bethel also did a phenomenal job of preparing me for this role.

Overall the opportunities that I was able to take advantage of during my time at Bethel have definitely given me a well-rounded approach to the workforce especially in my initial exposure through internships because it was due to my internship that I was able to land a great job in the midst of the difficult circumstances that this year has presented.
