Major/Minor Image

The Classics minor provides an interdisciplinary program of study that introduces students to a classical language as well as the cultures, history, and philosophies of the ancient Greek, Roman, and Middle Eastern world. Choose from a variety of art, philosophy, and biblical studies courses, along with your choice of language. Several study abroad options also contribute to this minor.

What skills will I develop?

You'll gain a knowledge base of classical language and culture that will complement and support a variety of majors and interests.

You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in the R.E.A.L. Experience—a program specifically designed to help you gain the relevant, hands-on experience employers desire—so that when you graduate, you’ll be as impressive in practice as you are on paper.

What unique experiences or opportunities will I have?

The Classics minor is complemented by a wide range of cultural opportunities in Bethel's many study abroad offerings.
