Assistant Dean for Residence Life

B.S. Accounting, North Dakota State University; M.S. Education, Higher Education Administration, University of Kansas

My Role at Bethel

I provide leadership and support to the upperclass residence halls at Bethel by working closely with the resident directors and coordinating leadership development training for our resident assistants.

Best Thing About My Job

I love being able to serve students through my position.  Much of my work indirectly affects students, but I get to be a part of an office that helps guide, shape, and develop our students into whole and holy persons.

Number One Reason to Live on Campus

The relationships, community, and experience that come from living on campus play a huge role in your college success.  By living on campus you’ll become more connected and have a greater sense of belonging.  Your relationships and support systems will be critical to have as you take on the challenges of college life.  Finally, if I haven’t convinced you by now, living on campus is just a lot more fun!

Favorite Bethel Tradition

Vespers.  Our student led ministry every Sunday night is an amazing worship experience.  College students from other cities travel into Bethel just for Sunday night Vespers.
