Fall Athletes

If you're participating in an NCAA fall sport, practice will begin before school starts. Follow these arrival steps: 

  1. Find your move-in day and time

    The fall athletic teams move in on different days. Review your team schedule to see your move-in day and arrival time. Your coach will provide additional details about your pre-Welcome Week schedule. 

  2. Enter through the west entrance

    When you enter campus at the west entrance, park in the West Lot. Leave your belongings in your vehicle while you check in and pick up your key.

  3. Connect with your coach and follow your first day schedule

    Follow your team's first day schedule. When you pick up your key, you'll receive further instructions.

Student Employees and Transfer Students 

Students with campus jobs: If your job requires additional employee training, you will receive details about moving in on Wednesday, August 23. Transfer students: We want to answer your questions about Bethel at an orientation designed specifically for you. You will receive details about moving in on August 23.

Follow these arrival steps:

  1. Find your move-in time on August 23

    Your move-in time is the time you should arrive on campus. It is based on your residence hall and floor:

    Arden Village, Heritage, Lissner, North Woods, or North Waters: 10:15-11 a.m.

    Nelson 3rd floor - 9-9:30 a.m.
    Nelson 2nd floor - 9:30-10 a.m.
    Nelson 1st floor - 10-10:30 a.m.

    Bodien, Edgren, or Getsch 4th floor - 11-11:30 a.m.
    Bodien, Edgren, or Getsch 3rd floor - 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
    Bodien, Edgren, or Getsch 2nd floor - 12-12:30 p.m.
    Bodien, Edgren, or Getsch 1st floor - 11-11:30 a.m.

  2. Enter through the west entrance

    Please arrive on campus at your move-in time and enter through the west entrance. You will be greeted by President Jay and Barb Barnes and placed in a move-in line. Sometimes the line moves quickly, but if you have to wait for a few minutes, enjoy the lively move-in atmosphere! If you are arriving in multiple vehicles, please enter campus together. Before you move in, we will verify that your enrollment checklist is complete.

  3. Arrive at your residence hall

    An enthusiastic, energetic student team will quickly unload your things and move them to your new room. Please label your things with your name and room number, and tell us what stays in the vehicle. One person needs to stay with the vehicle to park it while you get checked into your room. Once you're moved in, you're ready to follow your Welcome Week schedule.

Other Early Arrival Groups

If you are part of Forensics, Peer Empowerment Program, or Mu Kappa, follow these arrival steps:

  1. Find your move-in day and time

    Refer to your group's schedule to find your move-in day and arrival time.

  2. Enter through the west entrance

    Enter campus at the west entrance and park in the West Lot. Leave your belongings in your vehicle. PEP students, go first to the Student Life Office on Brushaber Commons Level 2. Later, upperclass students will help you unload and move into your residence hall.

  3. Follow your group's schedule

    After you get your things in your room, follow your group's schedule.
