Fall Athletes

If you're participating in an NCAA fall sport, practice will begin before school starts. Follow these arrival steps: 

  1. Find your move-in day and time.

    The fall athletic teams move in on different days. Review your team schedule to see your move-in day and arrival time. Your coach will provide additional details about your pre-Welcome Week schedule. 

  2. Follow your schedule.

    When you pick up your key, you'll receive further team details and instructions. Follow your team schedule. Starting Thursday afternoon, August 29, follow the Welcome Week schedule for students in campus housing or the commuter schedule.

Student Employees, Transfers, and Students in the BUILD Program

Students with campus jobs: If your job requires additional employee training, you will receive an email about moving in on August 28. Transfer students and first-year BUILD students: You will receive an email confirmation about moving in on August 28.

Follow these arrival steps:

  1. Find your move-in time on August 28.

    Your move-in time is the time you should arrive on campus. It is based on your residence hall and floor:

    Nelson 3rd floor - 9-9:30 a.m.
    Nelson 2nd floor - 9:30-10 a.m.
    Nelson 1st floor - 10-10:30 a.m.

    Bodien, Edgren, or Getsch 4th floor - 11-11:30 a.m.
    Bodien, Edgren, or Getsch 3rd floor - 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
    Bodien, Edgren, or Getsch 2nd floor - 12-12:30 p.m.
    Bodien, Edgren, or Getsch 1st floor - 11-11:30 a.m.

    Arden Village, Heritage, or North Village: 12-12:30 p.m.

    Lissner: 12:45-1:30 p.m.

  2. Enter through the west entrance.

    Please arrive at your move-in time and enter campus via the west entrance. You will be greeted by President Jay and Barb Barnes and placed in a move-in line. Sometimes the line moves quickly, but if you have to wait for a few minutes, enjoy the lively move-in atmosphere! If you are arriving in multiple vehicles, please enter campus together. Before you move in, we will verify that your enrollment checklist is complete.

  3. Arrive at your residence hall.

    An enthusiastic student team will quickly unload your things and move them to your new room. Please have your things labeled with your name and room number, and tell us what stays in the vehicle. One person needs to stay with the vehicle to park it while you get checked into your room.

  4. Follow your schedule.

    After you get your things in your room, follow your early arrival schedule. Starting Thursday afternoon, August 29, follow the Welcome Week schedule for students in campus housing or the commuter schedule.

Forensics

If you are participating in Forensics, follow these arrival steps:

  1. Arrive on campus between 9 and 10 a.m. on August 27.

    We look forward to welcoming you at your residence hall during this time window.

  2. Follow your schedule.

    After you get your things in your room, follow your group's schedule. Starting Thursday afternoon, August 29, follow the Welcome Week schedule for students in campus housing or the commuter schedule.
