Bethel University is committed to creating a safe living, learning, and working environment for students, faculty, and staff. The information contained within this site has been prepared to make you aware of the Bethel programs that exist to protect your safety and well-being, in compliance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, the federal Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act of 1989, and the federal Student Right-to-Know and Clery Act.

Bethel security officers have enforcement authority on the Bethel campus as private agents working under Minnesota State Code 629.37, working in full cooperation with the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office and the New Brighton Police Department to maintain a safe campus. The Office of Security and Safety cooperates with the Lake Johanna Fire Department to enhance fire safety.
