Best Browser for Blackboard
Mozilla Firefox 2 is currently the most compatible Blackboard Browser. Firefox 3 has issues with uploading "Assignments".

As of approximately 3:50 p.m. CST Blackboard and Moodle services have been restored. We removed potentially harmful memory and added some system patches to the oracle database server. ITS will continue to monitor the system and provide updates as more information is available.Thanks.

As of 2:14 p.m. CST Blackboard and Moodle services are down. The server team is onsite and working as quickly as possible to restore services. It is likely that there will be several more outages throughout the day as we trouble shoot this further. We will continue to communicate as things develop.Thank you.

At about 12:00 p.m. CST Blackboard and Moodle services were restored. We are unsure of what is causing the problem with the database hardware and will continue to work throughout the weekend to address the issues related to this outage and work to stabilize the system. As of 12:24 a.m. CST the oracle server that Backboard and Moodle uses went down. ITS is aware of this issue and working to resolve it as quick as possible. We will send an update when we have more information.
