Blog Support Guidelines

ITS Support

Please read Blojsom's User Guide and Blojsom Documentation before contacting ITS for support regarding a blog.

Default Template

ITS will only support the default BU template (bu.vm) within the blogging environment. If a different template is being used then ITS will be unable to provide support.

Group/Department/Class Blogs

ITS will support Group/Department/Class Blogs by providing documentation on common questions and functions. ITS will also provide phone support in understanding the administrator interface to managing the blog.

Personal Blogs

ITS will support Personal Blogs to the extent of providing documentation on common questions and functions. Phone support will not be available for personal blogs. Users will be directed to Blojsom's User Guide and Bethel's Blojsom Documentation. ITS will do its best to make documentation available on running a blog so that individual's with a personal blog should be able to maintin their environment.

Server Problems

If a problem encountered results from Bethel's Blog server and not the maintained blog then ITS will work to correct the problem with the server. Items that behave contrary to expectation but are working correclty are not considered a problem with the server and will not be changed.
