What: SMTP Outage Resolved
When: Tuesday, 01/31 @ 5:30pm until Wednesday, 02/01 @ ~8:08am
Affects: Outbound email sent by Bethel servers, but not user email sent
through the Gmail web-interface.
Details:
As warned about in yesterday's outage notice, at least one service was
broken by yesterday's WAN changes. Outbound SMTP from Bethel server hosts

What: FYI: BSP WAN Edge Upgrade
When: Tuesday, 01/31 @ 5:30pm
Affects: All BSP Internet users.
Details:
At 5:30pm this evening Network Services cut-over to new WAN equipment,
causing most BSP Internet traffic to take a new physical path through our
network. This action is part of a larger on-going network refresh project.

What: BSP Network Outage
When: Monday, 01/30 from ~10:25pm until 10:55pm.
Affects: All BSP network users.
Details:
The main core router for the BSP campus was reset this evening to clear a
remote management issue. Unfortunately, that caused the router to also
clear it's configuration, disrupting on and off-campus network connectivity

after performing routine maintenance.
Home Folders and Department Folders will be unavailable during this time.
Maintenance will begin tonight (Friday, January 27, 2012) at around 10:00pm
