On Saturday, May 25, Bethel celebrated the achievements of its graduates from the university’s undergraduate, adult undergrad, and seminary programs. From overcoming challenges to embracing new opportunities, these graduates are ready to make an impact in the world. About 545 students from all programs graduated over the weekend.

A history of preparing leaders, enriching students, and serving God’s kingdom

Growing up, Carole Spickelmier ’64 had a front-row seat to the kind of servant leadership at the core of Bethel’s education. Her father was former President Carl Lundquist. Along with building her own deep ties as a student and employee, she’s written and edited books chronicling Bethel and Converge history. She remains a faithful Bethel supporter and helped form a scholarship to prepare future pastors to lead churches.

From a documentary to a Fulbright Scholarship, Soraya Keiser ’24 is finding her calling in stories

Soraya Keiser ’24 recently became the first Bethel student to receive a Fulbright Scholarship in more than a decade. It’s the latest example of Keiser finding numerous ways to get involved, tell stories, and gain experiences at Bethel through trips abroad, The Clarion, and Textura.

“It meant that I’d be able to continue school"

After her mother died, Ann Lees CAPS '16, S'27 wasn’t sure how she’d continue her education. But then Lees applied for two scholarships to help her continue to pursue her Master of Divinity (M.Div.) to become a chaplain. She is one of many students who receive scholarships to help pay for school. This spring, Lees and other students got to meet many donors responsible for scholarships and share their stories with them.
