What He Does at Bethel
Alan oversees the catering department of Sodexo. Whether it is a simple lunch gathering or a grand banquet serving hundreds, Alan guides his team behind the scenes in providing the best service to the Bethel community. Alan also spends a great deal of time working one on one with customers to plan their events, providing them with unique and exciting menu options.
In His Free Time
Alan loves to sing and actually recorded an album (yes, black vinyl). He has been married for 30 years to Polly Nygard, a Bethel alumna. Together they enjoy going to Disney and are always seeking a great breakfast spot! They have an active Yorkshire Terrier named Casey.

Delicious fluffy pancakes (preferably banana pecan)
