Special Guest: Steve Wittaker
Bethel alum Steve Whittaker will be assisting with tips on the Troy Burne driving range before the tournament. Steve is a former head teaching Professional at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker, Minn.
Among his golfing accomplishments were multiple top 10 finishes in Minnesota state-wide golf tournaments, including a first place tie in the 2007 Minnesota State Senior Open Championship. He is in Bethel’s Athletic Hall of Fame, not as a golfer, but as an All American in track, holding numerous Bethel records upon his graduation in 1975.
Steve was Bethel’s Head Coach for men’s and women’s cross country and track from 1980-1990. He continues coaching track, cross country, and golf at Becker High School where he also teaches.
Purpose
Join other friends of Bethel University on a championship course for
great play and great fellowship. Your involvement is a strong vote of
support for Bethel as a quality institution, both now and in the
future. Proceeds from the Golf Classic will greatly benefit Bethel
University students.

Silent Auction
Get ready to bid on golf equipment, rounds for foursomes at several top-notch golf courses, and other great items! Bids for auction items will be accepted throughout the day. Full payment for silent auction prizes will be expected on the day of the event.
About Troy Burne Golf Club
Troy Burne Golf Club, a championship Midwest masterpiece, is located on 420 acres of lush greenery in the St. Croix Valley hills. This challenging course features more than 120 bunkers, hillsides covered with prairie grass, and well-kept grass fairways and stadium greens. Burne, the Scottish term for creek, is fitting as water comes into play on eight holes.
The clubhouse at Troy Burne Golf Club sits atop a grassy hillside overlooking the back nine. Modest in size but well-appointed, the dark maple woodwork throughout the building brings a warm, comfortable feeling to the interior. Much of the golf art and memorabilia on display relates to local golf hero and course designer Tom Lehman, including the actual golf bag Tom used at his 1996 British Open Championship victory.
