Event Description
Bethel Business Camp allows high school students to explore the world of business through a fun, engaging camp setting.
Through hands-on activities, students will be introduced to the intersection of faith and business. They will gain insight about personal strengths and interests to help provide direction for college and career planning. Additionally, students will experience university life while staying in campus housing.
This three-day, two-night camp begins with check-in between 8 and 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, and ends with an awards reception (parents included) at 5:00 p.m on Thursday, June 18.
Specifically, students will:
- Discover business interest areas through taking the Myers-Briggs Strong Interest Inventory.
- Meet with business professionals from local companies.
- Compete for prizes in a team case study competition.
- Connect with Bethel business faculty from:
- Accounting
- Analytics & AI
- Innovation & Entrepreneurship
- Finance
- Managing Organizations & Human Resources
- Marketing
- Tour a Twin Cities business.
- Hang out with current business student camp counselors.
- Celebrate at an awards reception with their parents/guardians.
Overnight accommodations will be provided in Lissner Hall. Housing is suite-style with 3 bedrooms, living area, and private bathroom.
Each bedroom has:
- Two twin XL beds
- Two desks and chairs
- A closet
Students will be housed with other students from their camp, with up to two students per bedroom. Roommate requests can be emailed to conference-event@bethel.edu. Students will be supervised by a Bethel resident director and a team of overnight hosts hired from our pool of Bethel student resident assistants and teaching assistants.
You can view the video from last year to see what camp is like.
Bethel camps reflect the mission, vision, and values of the university.
