Benefits & Services

Whether it's been a few years or a few decades since you last ate in the Dining Center or worshiped at a Vespers service, you're still a huge part of the Bethel community. There are some serious perks to being a Bethel alum!

Request a Transcript

You didn't lock yourself in the library for hours at a time for nothing! You've got to put those hard-earned credits to use. Request your official transcript today. Both electronic and hard copy versions of transcripts are available through the Office of the Registrar.

Exercise in the Wellness Center

Alumni have free access to our state-of-the-art Wellness Center. We want to help you stay in shape and take care of your wellbeing! Complete with two floors of exercise space, you can run on a treadmill by the windows and enjoy amazing views, diversify your workout with cutting-edge training equipment, or join a fitness class with friends.

Shop the Campus Store

Roar loud and proud and show that you're a part of Royal Nation! Purchase Bethel gear in our online store, or receive a 15% discount at the on-site Campus Store when you tell the cashier that you're an alum! (The discount does not apply to textbooks.)

Discounted Rates at Area Hotels

We take care of family. We know travel isn't cheap; we also know it's priceless to spend time with your alumni friends at the campus that brought you together. So Bethel works with local hotels to secure a "Bethel Rate" – just ask when you reserve your stay.

Use the Library

Stop by the Bethel University Library to use resources on-site, or register for a free library card to check them out. Plus, dive into the collections of the Bethel University Digital Library to discover Bethel's history and culture in old Clarion student newspapers, yearbooks, and photographs. Seminary library privileges are also available to seminary alumni; contact the Seminary Library in St. Paul for details.

Want to get more involved in the library? Help enhance the quality of the Bethel University Library, enjoy expanded borrowing privileges, and stay informed on library news and events by joining the Friends of the Bethel University Library.

Tune Into Bethel Chapel

Do you miss listening to challenging and encouraging messages in Benson Great Hall? You don't have to! Tune in to hear messages from our Campus Pastor and the Christian Formation crew. Other speakers are featured, too, like well-known authors and your fellow alumni who are also changing the world. Watch the latest Chapel message on Vimeo!

Stop by for Open Gym

Grab a few buddies and play a pick-up game in the Sports and Recreation Center (SRC), or schedule an alumni game with your old rec sports team! Free during open recreation times. Check the weekly schedule to see when the SRC is available for alumni use. When registering or entering the facility, please identify yourself as a Bethel alum.

Reserve Campus Housing for a Group

Do you have a group that's partnering with a ministry or visiting the Twin Cities, or are you looking for a place to develop your ministry? We'd love to support you! Bethel offers affordable overnight stay options for alumni and their families, youth groups, and ministry teams during the summer months of June and July. Stays can also be coordinated with meal service from the Dining Center. Contact Conference and Event Services for availability and pricing.
