Matthew Runion

Campus Pastor for Spiritual Formation and Care

Pastor Matt's calling is to engage students in God's work in themselves and around the world. Matt leads the Office of Christian Formation. His leadership gives vision and oversight to spiritual formation, worship, and missions ministries on our campus as well as provides care for our campus. It is Matt's passion to see students develop a vibrant relationship with God that grows in community and launches them into restorative work in the world. Matt holds a Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary.

Caitlyn Stenerson

Associate Campus Pastor for Worship Experiences

Pastor Caitlyn is passionate about telling the story of Jesus, mentoring young people, and helping people connect their work to God's global call. In her role at Bethel, Caitlyn provides pastoral care for students and is responsible for coordinating and implementing excellent, innovative, and Christ-centered Chapel and worship ministry. Pastor Caitlyn holds a Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary.

Maddie Bargen

Discipleship Associate

Maddie is called to facilitate spaces for students to encounter the living God in ways that lead them into transformed lives. Her hope for all Bethel students is that they would be formed into followers of Christ who share the good news of Jesus as an overflow of their love for God and their neighbors. Maddie leads the first-year student discipleship program, Shift. She holds a B.A. in Missional Ministries and Journalism from Bethel. She is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity through Western Theological Seminary.

Steven Anderson

Discipleship Associate

Steven's calling is to disciple college students and young adults. His passion is to do that through the transformational power of mentorship and in missional community. Steven loves the local church and seeks ways to connect young people to a thriving church community. Note: We are blessed to have Steven with us from mid-August through the first week of November 2023.
