Linda Schubring
Director of Alumni & Parent Services
As director of alumni and parent services, Linda Schubring facilitates all aspects of alumni and parent services, building Christ-centered relationships with alumni and parents to support Bethel and its mission.
The proud Bethel alumna (B.A. Psychology, 1997) served as a Bethel resident director from 1999-2002.
Linda returned to Bethel in September 2010, and she feels “richly blessed by the support, prayers, and encouragement since my breast cancer diagnosis in December 2010.”
Why Linda Loves Her Job
Linda's favorite part of her job is “joining hands with the other staff, faculty, and students around Bethel to promote and live our mission. The collaborative spirit and family atmosphere is part of our rich heritage.”
Favorite Bethel Experience
Although she has lots of favorite Bethel experiences to choose from, she’d have to say, “The pause for chapel in the week has consistently been a time of great connection to Christ and the larger body at Bethel.”
In Her Free Time
Linda, who’s married to Brian Schubring and joyfully parenting a tween daughter, enjoys spending time with her family, fostering a healthy lifestyle, travelling, studying, and inspiring others.
She is also a Strengthsfinder™ consultant and enjoys “learning from diverse cultures and empowering individual’s voices. To that end, I am working on a Doctor of Missiology degree with an emphasis in Leadership at Fuller Seminary; I’m studying how individuals and teams navigate change.”
