Event Description

Back by popular demand! Join President Jay Barnes and his wife, Barb, as they lead a marriage seminar for young Bethel alumni. Together, we'll explore how to build strong and lasting marriages.

"We have so much to learn as a newly married couple and Jay and Barb have a lot of wisdom to share. They reminded us how important it is to pray together. We also loved connecting with other newly married couples."

Michael '10 and AnnMarie '10 Vennerstrom

"Having been blessed with 12 years of marriage, we recognize that we must continue to invest in our relationship if we want it to grow and our love for one another to deepen. That is why we jumped at the opportunity to attend the marriage retreat led by Jay and Barb. They have been through the ups and downs that life inevitably brings into a marriage. Their willingness to be open, honest and transparent is refreshing and encouraging. The truths that they unpack can truly transform a marriage if a couple is willing to apply them in their lives by the grace and power of God!"

Jared '00 and Mandy '01 Gustafson

Only 1 spouse needs to be a Bethel alum. This seminar will be most beneficial to those married 15 years or less. To keep our focus on enriching our marriages, infants and children may not attend. Childcare is not provided.
