Biography

Brad Beale is the director of the Royal Register (TTBB ensemble), music education liaison, and teaches a variety of courses including Music History, Intro to the Creative Arts, and music education and methods courses. Prior to his work at Bethel he taught at Wayzata High School, Foley Public Schools, and Charles City High School. He has also held positions with the Flagstaff Master Chorale, Arizona Mountain Chorale, Sedona Chancel Choir, and North Iowa Choral Society. Brad holds degrees from Luther College and Northern Arizona University, and has studied conducting with Allen Hightower, Edith Copley, Ryan Holder, and Daniel O'Bryant. He has studied voice with Andrew Whitfield, Judith Cloud, and Ricardo Pereira. He is actively involved with ACDA-MN and MMEA, and has served in various roles with both organizations. Brad is also active as a performer in the Twin Cities, singing with ensembles such as MPLS (imPulse) and Minnesota Renaissance Choir.
