Biography

Brooke is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Bethel University and a practicing Certified Nurse-Midwife. She has more than 10 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, beginning her career as a registered nurse in high-risk labor and delivery before transitioning to nurse-midwifery. Since 2019, she has practiced as a CNM in a community-based setting, providing obstetric, gynecologic, reproductive, and primary healthcare.

At Bethel University, Brooke teaches primarily in obstetric and pediatric nursing across classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings. Her teaching extends beyond undergraduate nursing, and she has provided guest lectures and educational programming for students in physician assistant, nurse-midwifery, biology, and women’s studies programs at Bethel and other universities. She also precepts and mentors nursing, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, and nurse-midwifery students in clinical practice.
