Biography

Kettler is the Music Department Chair and Choir Director at Southwest Christian High School in Chaska, MN. He previously served as the Assistant Director of Choral Activities at Crown College and the Director of Music at St. Luke Presbyterian Church. Curtis received his Master of Music in Choral Studies from the University of Cambridge, where he studied under internationally renowned conductor Stephen Layton (Trinity College, Cambridge), and his Bachelor of Arts in Church Music from Crown College. As a singer, he has performed with VocalEssence, the Minnesota Opera, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra Chorale, and Minnesota Beethoven Festival Chorale. As a composer, his works have been commissioned and performed by the Harvard Choral Fellows, the Malone University Chorale, the Saint Cloud State Men's Chorus, the Music Association of Minnetonka and Wayzata Symphony. He is an active member of the American Choral Directors Association, ChorusAmerica, American Composers Forum, and the International Federation for Choral Music.
