Biography

Katie Friesen Smith will be teaching in the College of Arts, Sciences, & Education and School of Theology and Bethel Seminary. She earned both a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) and a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Bethel Seminary. With academic interests centered on spiritual formation, emotional intelligence, and leadership development, she is passionate about helping others grow in both personal and spiritual maturity. Outside of work, Katie enjoys hiking, reading a good detective novel and spending time with family.
