Laura is a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) with a background in mental health, school social work, and Special Education Administration. She has spent the majority of her career in public school settings, serving as a social worker and administrator. Her primary areas of focus have been school-based mental health, social-emotional learning, disability advocacy, special education instruction, reducing school discipline disparities, and multi-tiered systems of support. She also holds a MN K-12 Principal and a Special Education Director license through the Minnesota Department of Education.
