Dr. Reimer is the assistant director for program development in the Bethel University doctor of education and licensing program. She formerly served as the principal of Bendix Elementary School in Annandale, Minn., where she also was a teacher and the director of curriculum. Through her leadership, her elementary school (now Annandale Elementary) was selected as a 2013 National Blue Ribbon School.
