Biography

Whether it's in the class, workshops or staff meetings, Scott hopes that something will spark a transformative gleaning that is applied in a person's or an organization's life. For many decades, Scott has been an executive (EVP, COO, CFO) in many large and small corporations, a small business owner and an entrepreneurial coach here in the US and other countries. He has also served on several corporate and nonprofit boards of directors, including employee-owned companies, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, United Way and Hope International. Not afraid to ask "why not?" or challenge the status quo, Scott teases out his own and others' thinking about practices, policies and programs to find a better way. As a lifelong learner himself, his goal is that every educational and organizational moment is fun, developmental and practical.

Scott has traveled extensively for missions, business and leisure to Mexico, the Caribbean, Africa, Europe and Asia. He has facilitated Christian business groups, led Bible studies and continues to volunteer for his local church's worship tech team. He has played a lot of sports and continues to be active. Beginning to fall in love on a missions trip, his wife lights up his life 40+ years later and they have fun gathering with two married daughters, several grandkids...and two grandpuppies.
