Biography
Dr. Stacie L. Stanley, currently serves as the Associate Superintendent of Eden Pairie Schools, and has served in a variety of education roles including math teacher, school principal, & director of curriculum, assessment and instruction. She has a passion for supporting positive school climate by developing quality school leaders, affirming individual gifts and talents, and using multiple data sources to focus district and school improvement efforts. Dr. Stanley is the Co-Author of Leading While Female: A Culturally Proficient Response for Gender Equity (2020). She is a fierce advocate for ensuring women are able to move into executive leadership roles – with a special focus on women of color. She is a proud graduate of Bethel's doctorate program, where she researched the impact of intercultural development on K-6 administrative leadership practice. Stacie served as a contributing author for the text Innovative Voices in Education: Engaging diverse communities (2012). She also serves as a Senior Training Associate at the Center for Culturally Proficient Educational Practice. Dr. Stanley lives with her husband, and enjoys being an empty nester, power walking, and spending time with their grandchildren.
