Swensen taught middle school and high school math, physics, and chemistry for over twenty years. He is currently a Professor of Education at Bethel University where he has taught Educational Technology, Statistical Analysis, Concepts in Physics, Math Curriculum and Methods, Applied Research in STEM, and courses in middle level education.
