As a Business Adjunct Faculty member at Liberty University I teach courses in corporate finance, and human resources. Through my professional experience in banking of 25+ years, I have extensive knowledge of corporate and managerial finance. My organizational skills and flexibility allow me to manage my current position as Liberty University as well as Carter Bank & Trust. My teaching methods have earned me much praise. I've been told by both students and supervisors that I am able to make financial concepts fun and understandable. I enjoy helping students to develop a love and understanding of finance and HR through teaching strategies that address varied learning preferences.

Biography
Dr. Tammy Brown is a professor at the Liberty Univeristy School of Business where she has taught since 2009. Dr. Brown received her B.A in Family & Consumer Science, MBA, and Doctoral of Business Administration. Dr. Brown is also a career banker with more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry. She currently holds the position of Vice President/Commercial Banker for Carter Bank in Lynchburg VA.
Dr. Brown's primary areas of research include finance, analyzing financial statements, small business/ entreneurship, and leadership, and human resources.
Throughout her career, she has been interested in different aspects of finance, which include corporate finance, personal finance, financial institutions, financial statement analysis, and small business development. She believes in interactive learning and leading by example in the classroom. Her main goal in life as well as the classroom is that Christ is glorified through her speech and actions.
