Bethel-Maranatha Christian Academy Partnership
Academics
Jumpstart Your College Experience
Maranatha Christian Academy juniors and seniors can earn an Associate of Arts degree or college credit through Bethel University. The schools—which are both dedicated to integrating your faith in Christ into top-ranked academics—are partnering to offer college courses for Maranatha students. Most courses will be taught on-site at Maranatha Christian Academy by Bethel faculty, and courses will be offered online.
Earn an A.A. Degree or College Credits
Students may pursue the entire 60-credit Associate of Arts program or take individual courses for college credit. A Bethel A.A. degree provides a strong foundation in the core curriculum of a liberal arts education. Through these courses, students gain practical and relevant skills and knowledge in areas like writing, reading, and research—all skills that will help in careers and continuing education.
Transferable College Credits
As students finish high school requirements, these college-level courses will help them get ahead by earning general education credits geared toward their college future—and saving tuition money. Because Bethel is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and follows the Minnesota transfer curriculum, courses are easily transferable.
Qualifications
Students must have a 3.0 GPA or higher or a qualifying standardized test score (PSAT score of 1050 or higher, ACT Aspire score of 426 or higher).
