Event Description
Many “prairie” reconstructions result in plant communities that are low in diversity, sometimes even less diverse than the “old field” plant community they are intended to replace. This Edgren Scholars team investigated the relationship between plant diversity and the diversity, abundance, and ecological complexity of the invertebrate taxa, particularly insects, present within different side-by-side grassland reconstructions.
