- Respecting differences: Now how do I do that? | Carla Dahl, Ph.D., Professor of Education
The themes expressed about respecting differences from the plenary session of the February 2015 CAPS/GS Faculty Development Workshop were insightful and well-received. As a result, this session will be a forum for discussing our next step for respecting differences: applying them in our classrooms and our lives.
- Talk the talk: Using a professional tone & academic language | Judi Landrum, Ph.D., Associate Dean for CAPS and GS
To succeed in college, graduate school, and the professional workplace, students need a working knowledge of writing, reading, speaking and thinking patterns that are specific to the academic and the professional world. This workshop outlines some of the key elements of literacy that students need to cultivate to succeed at Bethel and beyond.
