Event Description

New and returning CAS students, you're invited to three fun Welcome (Back) events. Bring your friends! Family members are welcome too! Transportation to off-campus events is available. Please register so we can plan for food and transportation.
Here's the lineup of weekend events:

Welcome (Back) Reception with Food, Back Massages, and Prizes
Friday, September 18 | 3-5 p.m.
The Underground (Brushaber Commons Level 2)

Whether you're a new student or have been at Bethel for awhile, this event is for you. Please stop by to learn about important resources on campus designed to help you thrive throughout your Bethel experience. And enjoy free refreshments and a back massage while you're at it! You'll build a passport of fun rewards while you chat with staff from these offices and others:

  • Off-Campus Programs/International Studies (study abroad)
  • Career Development and Calling 
  • Residence Life
  • Disability Resources and Services
  • Academic Enrichment and Support Center
  • Counseling Services

Welcome (Back) BBQ
Saturday, September 19 | 2-5 p.m.
Tony Schmidt Regional Park Picnic Pavilion (minutes from Bethel near Lake Johanna)
This is a free BBQ! Join faculty, students, and staff for food, games, face painting, potato sack races, horse shoe, and fun!

Welcome (Back) Worship and Lunch Discussion
Sunday, September 20 | 10 a.m. worship service; lunch following
Sanctuary Covenant Church worship location: North Community High School, 1500 James Avenue North, Minneapolis
Lunch location (church office): 1201 37th Avenue North, Minneapolis
Let's worship together and then engage in conversation over lunch about what it means to be a multicultural Christian community.
