Event Description
The Manga Guide is very popular graphic novel series in Japan, and most volumes have been translated into English. Dr. Eric Gossett will discuss how these graphic novels can be used to supplement regular textbooks in a university math or computer science course. He will also discuss his current sabbatical project: producing a graphic novel to supplement a Discrete Mathematics course. Dr. Gossett's material is currently being field-tested at Bethel.
