Event Description
Confidence in government and other institutions of authority has declined in the West over the past half century. This change goes hand in hand with an ongoing rise in individualism and a weakening of community ties and raises important questions about the relationship of Christ-followers to political and spiritual authorities. This presentation by Dr. Bramsen will explore these changes in the perception of authority by examining four influential series of fantasy literature: Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, and Twilight.
