Event Description

Preaching and Applying the Word in Changing Times

How can words written thousands of years ago in different times and cultures apply to us today? Why do Christians obey certain commands in the Bible and ignore others? Are there consistent principles for interpreting and applying the Bible?

In this seminar, Mark Strauss will share insights for pastors and ministry leaders from his book How to Read the Bible in Changing Times: Understanding and Applying God’s Word Today. You’ll learn how to interpret and apply the Scriptures regardless of time and culture.
