Event Description

"World-changer" is one of Bethel’s seven core values. At Bethel, we aim to prepare graduates who are equipped to use their God-given talents to shape and change the world.

In celebration of this core value, we'd like to introduce the World-Changers Series.

We’re planning twice-yearly gatherings that are an opportunity for all Bethel alums, parents, donors, ministry partners, and friends to hear insights from world-changers both from within and beyond the Bethel community.

Join us for the first event in this series as Jay Milbrandt, ’04, human rights lawyer, BU assistant professor of business and economics, and author of The Daring Heart of David Livingstone, explores the captivating, untold story of the great explorer.

You'll learn about:

  • Livingstone’s abiding faith
  • his heroic efforts to end the African slave trade, and
  • the publicity stunt that saved millions after his death

This event includes a reception and book-signing with Jay.

Can't attend the event in person? Watch it live.
