Event Description
The Faculty Phased Retirement Plan allows eligible faculty members the opportunity to elect a phased retirement if such a decision, in their own judgment, is in their best interest.
The plan is available to full-time faculty with tenure or nontenure continuing status who will be at least 62 years of age on the August 1 of the year in which the faculty member wants to begin phased retirement and who has ten or more years of continuous faculty service.
Faculty who want to participate in the plan beginning in 2017-2018 must sign up from August 15 through October 15, 2016, or from January 15 through March 15, 2017.
